The legendary heroic demigod, Perseus is set to return in Wrath of the Titans, an upcoming fantasy sequel to the 2010 movie, Clash of the Titans. Directed by Jonathan Liebesman, this movie starring Sam Worthington, Liam Neeson, Ralph Fiennes, Edgar Ramirez, Rosamund Pike, Danny Huston, Bill Nighy and Toby Kebbell. Filming took place in studios outside London and later shot on location in Surrey, South Wales and in the Canary Islands on the island of Tenerife. Rumours say that the writing for a third installment of this series has begun in progress. Wrath of the Titans is scheduled for a 30th MAR 2012 release in conventional 2D, 3D and IMAX 3D formats.

The late Sir Arthur Conan Doyle‘s famous detective novel will be back on the big screens this year with Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, the follow-up to the smash hit “Sherlock Holmes“! Filmmaker Guy Ritchie returns to direct this sequel which reunites Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law to reprise their roles as the world’s most famous detective, Sherlock Holmes and his formidable colleague, Dr. Watson respectively. Also joining the cast include Jared Harris, Noomi Rapace, Stephen Fry and Eddie Marsan. This another fun and action packed Sherlock Holmes movie is scheduled to be distributed worldwide beginning 16th DEC 2011 by Warner Bros. Pictures.

In this coming March, be prepared for the stunning actions, swords, machine guns, dragons, robots, Samurais, Nazis and hot chicks in an upcoming action-fantasy movie – Sucker Punch! The film is directed by creative vision filmmaker and the director of 300 and Watchmen, Zack Snyder, whom also co-write the screenplay with Steve Shibuya. It features an ensemble cast of all-female young stars, including Emily Browning, Abbie Cornish, Jena Malone, Vanessa Hudgens and Jamie Chung. According to Zack Snyder, music will becomes the backbone of the film and play an integral role in the movie. Warner Bros. The comic book movie industry is showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon, with Marvel Studios and DC Entertainment laying down major plans to bring their biggest superheroes to life over the next several years. For Warner Bros and DC, their first big step towards what may become a shared superhero film universe comes at us next summer with the first ever Green Lantern movie which stars Ryan Reynolds in the title role, under the direction of Martin Campbell. The film also stars Blake Lively, Peter Sarsgaard, Mark Strong, Jay O. Sanders, Temuera Morrison, Taika Waititi, Academy Award nominee Angela Bassett and Academy Award winner Tim Robbins. The film is currently scheduled for release in 3D and 2D on 17th JUN 2011.
