White Vengeance

November 7th, 2011 No comments

Like I had said before in previous post, some great Oriental epic movies are going to conclude this year for you. Besides “Legendary Amazons“, White Vengeance is another one! From director Daniel Lee, the film recalls the well-known event in 206 B.C. known as the “Banquet at Hong Men” where warring general Xiang Yu organized a banquet so that he could assassinate his biggest rival, Liu Bang. The event often memorialized in Chinese history, novels, and drama, including in Beijing opera and in Chinese idiomatic usage, “the Feast at Hong Gate” has often been used to refer to a trap or a situation ostensibly joyous but in fact treacherous. This ancient Chinese war period action epic has a star-studded cast including Leon Lai, Zhang Hanyu, William Feng, Anthony Wong, Jordan Chan, Andy On and young actress Crystal Liu Yifei. It’s set to be released on 24th NOV 2011.
