Rockaway festival is back with bigger than ever this year! Presented by local indie band One Buck Short, Rockaway 2011 will be a 12-hour rock music festival which showcase local and international acts, celebrating music and all things rock! Asia Voice Independent Music Awards (AVIMA) returns for its second year this month. AVIMA is the world’s biggest independent music awards by kick into the next gear with a slew of exciting music talents from 20 countries around Asia. The AVIMA scoring is unique and drives home the philosophy of “band talent-fans power”. Thus, the winners of each categories are decided via an online polls that makes up 30% of the overall scores and the remaining 70% will be determined by global music judges. The voting period for AVIMA 2010 has begun from 8th APR until 23rd APR 2010 and there are total 17 categories to be vote for in this year’s gala.
