Guinness Arthur’s Day is back for its third annual global celebrations and Malaysia, once again, has been chosen to host one of the Asian leg of the event! Kicking off in Ireland, the home of Guinness, at 17:59 on 22nd SEPT 2011, Malaysia will end the 24 hour global celebration on the 23rd SEPT 2011 with a toast to “Arthur”. After a triumphant 2009 show in Sunway Lagoon Surf Beach that attracted a crowd of over 15,000 people, Arthur’s Day is back for the 2010 edition at the same location as last year on this coming 24th SEPT! The bar has been set and Arthur’s Day 2010 is set to top it by bringing world renowned producer/rapper/actor/musician – Timbaland to shock the crowds. The stellar line-up of acts set to appear alongside Timbaland including Jamaican-American baby-faced singer Sean Kingston, Thai hip-hop band Thaitanium, local rockers Pop Shuvit, current chart topper Mizz Nina and turntablist extraordinaire DJ Fuzz!
Ever wonder how The God brings life to this planet? Maybe Guinness can give you some ideas about it through its latest most ambitious commercial. In a parallel with the way a pint of Guinness is created, the ad shows a group of men bringing “a world to life”.
Guinness is celebrating the 250th year since Arthur Guinness first brewed the iconic dry stout, with one massive party all over the world. Five cities around the globe will see the party kick off simultaneously, which are: Dublin, Lagos, Yaounde, New York and guess what: Kuala Lumpur is also one of them!
There are three unbelievable experiences awaiting lucky winners of the Guinness Experiences: floating in zero-gravity, a party 70m below sea level, and a chance to chill out with big names in the music industry.
