After the Han River dwelling monster of “The Host”, the missile launcher wearing dragons of “D-War”, and the oversized blood thirsty boar of “Chaw”, this year’s CGI creature feature from South Korea is Sector 7. Secotr 7 is a forthcoming Korean monster flick centered around an isolated oil rig positioned somewhere in the middle of the ocean. It’s shot in 3D and is one of the most anticipated movies in Korea this year. Directed by Kim Ji-hoon, the masterminds behind the surprisingly enjoyable South Korean disaster epic “Haeundae”, Sector 7 stars Ha Ji-Won, Ahn Seong Ji, Lee Han Wee and Park Cheol-Win. The movie is set to be released on 4th AUG 2011.

The ultimate battle between human and Gods is coming your way this year! A remake of the 1981 film – Clash of the Titans is due to release on 26th MAR 2010. The original film is about the myth of Perseus and his quest to battle both Medusa and the Kraken monster in order to save the Princess Andromeda. In this new version Perseus seeks revenge on the Gods themselves after his adopted family are massacred by Hades.

The Ford Models‘ Supermodel of the World Malaysia 2009 competition will kick-off and begin airing its first episode online today, 16th NOV 2009 via www.fordsupermodel.tv with total eight episodes. Malaysia famous model, Amber Chia is the show’s executive producer, franchise holder and head judge. Well-known personality and presenter Daphne Iking will be the show’s host. Two resident judges – fashion guru Gillian Hung and professional photographer Azrul Kevin Abdullah – will assist Amber Chia in evaluating and providing feedback.

World Food Day is celebrated on 16th OCT every year around the world, where the Day also marks the date of the founding of Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) in 1945. This globally celebrated Day was proclaimed by FAO’s Member Countries at the organization’s 20th General Conference in NOV 1979. The aim of the Day is to heighten public awareness of the world food problem and strengthen solidarity in the struggle against hunger, malnutrition and poverty.
