CNNGO, a travelling blog or news site for six cities in Asia: Bangkok, Hong Kong, Mumbai, Shanghai, Singapore and Tokyo, has recently compiled the 12 reasons why they think Singapore is the greenest city on Earth.

These are the 12 reasons according to CNNGO:

We’re one great big Garden City - It was the mission of Singapore government to integrate the environment with urban development and soften the effects of a concrete jungle. When you are in Singapore, you will see trees and plants along every road and parks.

Waste not, want not – Singaporeans are taught to save every drop of water. The country only import half the population’s water from the Malaysia government and conserves almost all rainfall and water reserves to produce water for industrial usage and also drinking.

Drive up, plug in, power on – Many motor vehicles and cars in Singapore start using electric motor. Until now, electric power is still the most viable and cleanest green energy source to drive vehicles.

Electric cars are so yesterday – Not only the private cars, the public transport (like cabs) in Singapore use kind of hybrid engine (petrol + electric power for small vehicles or diesel + electric power) to drive their transport.

The big evil master plan to save the Earth – Singapore has a big plan to save the earth – Singapore Green Plan 2012 – which looks at six main areas: Clean Air & Climate Change, Water, Waste Management, Public Health, Conserving Nature, and International Environmental Relations.

We’re getting paid to go green – Singaporeans are getting paid for go green. The government subsides some of the thing if you choose to be green, for example buying a electric car.

The longest green campaign. Ever. – The Clean and Green Singapore (CGS) campaign has been around for about two decades now and it’s one of the longest in Singapore.

Get them while they’re young – Green Singapore 2050 (GS2050), a place where youngster voice their concerns to environmental issues and suggest solutions to them.

Of mega parks and super trees – Parks, parks, and parks around the city.

“Way to stay cool, good looking” – Buildings are design to be green and environmentally conscious.

The most glam eco advocates around – Green Kampung and Green Drinks Singapore are the community that make things happening in Singapore

We all want to do save the world – Most Singaporeans are willing in involving making the work greener.

NASA mission on 9th October used a rocket to punch a hole about 100 feet across in the moon surface and discovered 25 gallons of water in form of vapor and ice.

With the discovery of water at moon, it is possible to have construction of a lunar base in which astronauts could live and work for months at a time.

With water and air, it is possible that moon may have some lifeforms. Will the be any creature or alien that human hasn’t discovered at moon?

An unknown lifeform was discovered in North Carolina sewer when a snakecam was sent in to capture video in the sewer. uforadar.com believes that it is the origin of ET.

The crew at DeepSeaNews.com sent the video over to Dr. Timothy S. Wood, an expert on freshwater bryozoa and an officer with the International Bryozoology Association, and he had this to say about it:

Thanks for the video – I had not see it before. No, these are not bryozoans! They are clumps of annelid worms, almost certainly tubificids (Naididae, probably genus Tubifex). Normally these occur in soil and sediment, especially at the bottom and edges of polluted streams. In the photo they have apparently entered a pipeline somehow, and in the absence of soil they are coiling around each other. The contractions you see are the result of a single worm contracting and then stimulating all the others to do the same almost simultaneously, so it looks like a single big muscle contracting. Interesting video.

Over 6 millions views and counting on the “unknown lifeform” YouTube video! It is very disgusting, don’t watch if you are having your food.
