The 17th annual ceremony of Relentless Energy Drink Kerrang! Awards 2010 had been held on last Thursday in London and all the winners were revealed. Bullet For My Valentine sweep two gongs to become the only band to receive multiple nods. The four-piece act received one for Best Live Band and another for Best British Band. Overall the Brits led the charge at this year’s Kerrang! Awards, which saw Bullet For My Valentine, Biffy Clyro and You Me At Six all voted winners, beating off competition from their American rivals.

Although Jared Leto and his bandmates, 30 Seconds to Mars failed to win Best Live Band, they still snatch an award for Best International Band. Also being lucky to get one kudo is the Hayley Williams-fronted band, Paramore who are handed with Best Album.

Kerrang! Awards were presented by the weekly music magazine, Kerrang! and the readers were able to vote online for their picks in eight categories. A separate judging panel selected five additional awards, including The Hall of Fame Award and the No Half Measures Award. Kerrang! Awards 2010 was hosted for the second year running by Slipknot/Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor and Scott Ian from Anthrax/The Damned Things. Over 6 million Kerrang! Magazine and Kerrang.com readers voted across the public categories in the last three weeks.
