Baybeats 2010 is returning this month! It’s Singapore’s own local annual alternative music festival by Esplanade Theatres on the bay since 2002. It has sought to showcase good local, regional and international alternative bands, give them an opportunity to meet and exchange ideas, and bring funs to audiences. This year, the annual music festival will be held from 20th to 22nd AUG at The Esplanade, Singapore and it’s free. Yes, you see it right. It’s totally free for admission!

Baybeats is a 3-day celebration of great live alternative music in a variety of sounds such as post-rock, punk, emo, electro, indie-pop and hard rock. It’s one of the most anticipated festivals in Singapore for puts on a show for bands from countries like Malaysia, Thailand, The Philippines, Indonesia, Australia, the US and of course, Singapore. The best of what regional rock has to offer will be displayed at Baybeats!
