The annually world largest cyber-gaming tournament which inaugurated since year 2000 – World Cyber Games (WCG) Malaysia 2010 is return. The championship will begin from tomorrow, 16th JUL to Sunday, 18th JUL 2010 at Hall 1 & 2, Level 3, Mid Valley Exhibition Centre from 10AM until 10PM daily. In case you are one of the registered athlete, you are required to report to the organiser on 16th JUL 2010 at 10AM. This exciting event where the best gamers in Malaysia will compete against one another is proudly presented by PIKOM, the strategic partner and Samsung, the worldwide partner.

WCG is a rapidly growing international Olympics in which nearly one million players compete against one another for the title of world champion in separate events. This year, WCG Malaysia 2010 will feature the following official list of games: Counter Strike, FIFA 10, Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne, StarCraft: Brood War and TrackMania Nations Forever for PC games category, Tekken 6 and Guitar Hero 5 for X-box 360 games category, and Asphalt 5 for mobile game category.

Apart from watching the live action as the best gamers in the country do battle, visitors can also enjoy the PIKOM Games Fiesta in conjunction with the WCG National Finals. The PIKOM Games Fiesta will feature an estimated 90 booths showing off the latest in software and hardware. As if that isn’t enough, Malaysia’s leading animation, comics and games community, together with PIKOM will be jointly organizing a cosplay competition. An estimated 20 participants will dress up as their favourite comic, video game or anime characters and entertain the audience with their live interpretation of their chosen characters.

Besides, exhibitors will get to nominate their female promoters to take part in the Miss WCG Malaysia 2010 Contest. With participation from 30 female promoters at the exhibitors’ booths, this gives you the chance to pick your favourite promoter based not only on her appearance but also her attitude and the quality of assistance provided when visiting the booths. To spice up the event, visitors will get to vote via SMS their most preferred Miss WCG! The contestant with the most votes will win the Miss WCG Malaysia 2010 Title!
