MTV World Stage is going to return to Malaysian shores for the second time. This year, MTV World Stage: Live in Malaysia 2010 will feature German rock act Tokio Hotel, pop sensation Katy Perry, local popular indie band Bunkface and Wonder Girls, the Korean pop sensation that took the world by storm with their hits “Nobody”. The outdoor concert will be hosted on 31st JUL 2010 at Sunway Lagoon Surf Beach from 6PM onwards and it’s expected will be staged in front of a live audience of about 15,000 fans.

Meanwhile, the 2-hour on-air version of MTV World Stage: Live In Malaysia 2010 will premiere on MTV S.E.A. channel on 21st AUG at 7PM (Indonesia), 8PM (Singapore and Hong Kong) and 9PM (Malaysia). Furthermore, an hour-long version also will be broadcast globally in 154 countries reaching over 550 million households later in the year.

Ardent fans in Malaysia can also try for express lane passes into the concert ground of MTV World Stage: Live In Malaysia 2010 by participating in on-ground games at a local road show. MTV will host this one-off special event at the Pyramid Concourse of Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall on 17th and 18th JUL between noon and 6PM.
