World Music Awards 2010 had been held on last week, 18th MAY at Sporting Club in Monte Carlo, Monaco. Lady Gaga leads the winners list this year by scooping five gongs, including the Best Selling Artist from America, Best Single, Best Album, Best Pop/Rock Artist and Best New Artist awards. Unfortunately, the “Poker Face” failed to turn up to the lavish bash.

Black Eyed Peas also managed to sweep three nods in other categories, which were Best Pop Artist, Best R&B and Best Hip-Hop Artist prizes. There were also special honours for Outstanding Contribution to the Arts and Rock Legends, which awarded to Jennifer Lopez and Scorpions respectively.
