The annual Digital Camera, Imaging and Media Show (DCIM) return once again for the second year running and will be held from this Friday, 14th-16th MAY at Mid Valley Exhibition Centre. DCIM is the largest and most complete photography and imaging exhibition at our shore. Most of the mainstay brands around the world of digital and analogue photography will be featured in the show this year, such as Canon, Panasonic, Nikon, Leica, Samsung, Western Digital, Sigma and Lowepro to name a few.

The event will showcase the entire spectrum of photography and its related accessories and applications – from DSLRs, lenses, camera kits and equipment, software, printing solutions and other photography or imaging-related products and services.

Coinciding with DCIM 2010, there will also some seminars and workshops to be held by well-known photographers to benefit hobbyists and amateurs in the field of photography. Among those there is Velocity Angel Search 2010, a modeling competition where 10 fresh faces will be vying for the chance to adorn the covers of magazines such as T3 and Digital Camera Malaysia.

A number of studios also will be built for visitors to use, further enhancing the show’s experience and to aid consumers in making better purchasing decisions. Besides, there will be a dedicated kiosk area allocated for local photographers to showcase their services, be it in photography services or even offering lessons to beginners.
