Asia Voice Independent Music Awards (AVIMA) returns for its second year this month. AVIMA is the world’s biggest independent music awards by kick into the next gear with a slew of exciting music talents from 20 countries around Asia. The AVIMA scoring is unique and drives home the philosophy of “band talent-fans power”. Thus, the winners of each categories are decided via an online polls that makes up 30% of the overall scores and the remaining 70% will be determined by global music judges. The voting period for AVIMA 2010 has begun from 8th APR until 23rd APR 2010 and there are total 17 categories to be vote for in this year’s gala.

Besides taking home the much sought after crystal awards, winners of all categories of AVIMA will be provided special media, marketing and collaboration privileges across the globe and stand a chance to have their songs promoted on mobile or telco platforms to make some good money. Winners also earn the chance to be invited to be part of regional and international concerts and an opportunity of recording a music videos for the winning indie acts. Furthermore, there is even a special fund where your ideas or concepts of songs will be funded, made into a single and marketed.
