2009/10 UEFA Champions League (MD9-IV)
Bordeaux are going to fight back from the 2 goals trailing to grab the ticket of semi-finals when they meet with Olympique Lyon at home tonight in the 2009/10 UEFA Champions League quarter-finals second leg match. Bordeaux lost 1-3 to Lyon in the first leg and they need to win by at least 3 goals or 2-0 in order to eliminate their opponent. Whichever team successful go through tonight will become the first team from France enter into semi-finals since 2003/04. Lyon had 5 wins 1 draw 2 loses in last 8 UCL away games. Meanwhile Bordeaux recorded 7 consecutive wins in UCL this term before lost to Lyon last week, including all 4 home matches. But they had just 2 wins 2 draws 4 loses in last 8 games in any competitions. Asian handicap give the odd of Bordeaux let 0.5 goal. This game is tough to predict, as I have not much info and knowledge about the teams from Ligue 1. Anyhow, I will still put my faith on Bordeaux, just same as last week.
Last year runner-up, Manchester United also have to fight back from the 1-2 trailing when they welcome Bayern Munich at Old Trafford tonight. The Red Devils need to win by at least 2 goals or 1-0 to go through. MU lost once only in last 26 UCL home games with 15 cleansheets. However, they were winless at home in encounters with German teams in last 3 UCL games at the eliminate rounds. Meanwhile, Bayern lost twice in last 12 encounters with English teams, where both the loses happened when they played away at England. Bayern are leading MU with 3 wins 4 draws 1 lose in head-to-head record, including 1 win 2 draw at Old Trafford. Asian handicap give the odd of MU let 0.5/1 goal. Base on the statistics between both sides, I will keep my choice on Bayern, just same as last week too.

Bordeaux 1-0 Lyon: W
Manchester United 3-2 Bayern Munich: L 1/2
