Malaysian International Furniture Fair (MIFF) 2010

Malaysian International Furniture Fair (MIFF) 2010 will be kicked off at three acclaimed venues: Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC), Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) and MATRADE Exhibition & Convention Centre (MECC) starting from today, 2nd – 6th MAR 2010. MIFF, which is now in its 16th year, is a leading furniture trade fair in the Asia-Pacific and global calendar.


MIFF is a must see event for all furniture retailers, interior designers, interior decorators, architects and product specifiers. This year, more than 500 local and foreign manufacturers, wholesalers and designers will be featured over a huge 80,000 square metres. The show is not only recognised globally as a furniture export vehicle for the region, it also offers itself as a gateway for international players to penetrate the regional market.

MIFF 2010 is open to trade visitors and invited guests. The public will only be admitted on 6th MAR.

  • Events & Highlights: The Ideation Award is held for the first time to offer students a platform to showcase their designs with an aim to nurture more young designers; a new segment, ID Trends, will be introduced at MECC which include a showhouse – ID Square, where visitors can get advice from local interior designers, as well as product demonstrations and presentations; Interior designer Eric Leong will host a talk show in which he will present interior design and colour trends for 2010 and a step-by-step home make-over project.
