82nd Academy Awards
Kathryn Bigelow became the biggest winner in 2010 82nd Academy Awards by winning six golden statues for her low-budget Iraq war drama – The Hurt Locker, including both Best Picture and Best Directing awards, which making Bigelow the first women ever in the history of Academy Awards to win the awards. This most anticipating event of the year was held at the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles just a few hours ago.

Meanwhile, Bigelow’s ex-husband, James Cameron’s blockbuster - Avatar could only bagged three awards in categories like cinematography, visual effects and art direction. Quentin Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds became the biggest blow of the night with just Christoph Waltz won the Best Supporting Actor award, which was the only one of the film’s eight nominations that bore fruit.
