34th Hong Kong International Film Festival
The 34th Hong Kong International Film Festival (HKIFF) will run from 21st MAR until 6th APR this year. HKIFF is Hong Kong’s largest cultural event with screening over 250 titles from more than 50 countries in 11 major cultural venues across the territory. A total of 804 film projects, in which 602 are feature films, are submitted online from 69 countries representing more than double the number of submissions from the previous year at 365 from 50 countries. Increased submissions are seen primarily from North and South America, Europe and Australia.

The HKIFF is one of Asia’s most reputable platforms for filmmakers, film professionals and filmgoers from all over the world to launch new works and experience outstanding films. Committed to discovering new talent, the Festival premieres the breadth of Chinese cinema and showcases Asian talent.
