Corruption Perceptions Index 2009 – Malaysia’s Ranking Dropped

November 17th, 2009 Leave a comment Go to comments

According to the survey taken by Transparency International (an international non-governmental organization fighting corruption and trying to raise public awareness of it), Malaysian’s ranking has been drop from 47th in 2008 to 56th in 2009. Is it a sign of the corruption issues in Malaysia getting  worser?

Our neighbor countries like Singapore (3rd) and Indonesia (111th – although it is very low but still have improvement) are getting better for their ranking. Hopefully our country can improve better in the coming years too.
