Have You Been Blacklisted by PTPTN?

PTPTN or Perbadanan Tabung Pendidikan Tinggi Nasional is a low interest loan provided by government to students in universities and colleges.

If you have taken loan from PTPTN and left your university/college and haven’t made any repayment for the loan, your name may have been blacklisted. Once your name is blacklisted, you will not be able to leave Malaysia. Immigration Malaysia will be able to check whether you have been blacklisted by PTPTN.

This is the notice statement from PTPTN website:

PTPTN telah mengambil tindakan tegas dengan menyenaraihitamkan peminjam ingkar daripada keluar negara dengan kerjasama Jabatan Imigresen Malaysia.

Peminjam ingkar lain yang belum disenaraihitam dinasihat untuk membuat bayaran segera mengikut jadual yang ditetapkan sebelum tindakan yang sama diambil.
