When two Muslims meet they greet each other with one saying “Al’salamualaikum” and the reply from the other “Mua’laikumsalam”

Meaning; “Peace be upon you” and the reply “And upon you be Peace!”

The origin of Allsalamualaikum and Mualikumsalam is not Arabic, it’s Hokkien!!

Why corruption in Malaysia will never be eradicated!

Because when officials meet, they remind one another:

Official A says: “‘Wa salah Lu Mai Kong” (Al’salamualaikum)

Official B replies: “Wa Mai Kong Lu Salah”(Mual’aikumsalam)

So now we know the origin of Allsalmualaikum and Mualikumsalam is not Arabic but Hokkien!!

Translate:
“Wa salah Lu Mai Kong” means when i was wrong and you shouldn’t spread out the news.
“Wa Mai Kong Lu Salah” means i won’t spread out the news when found that you are wrong.
